Email us
The best way to reach Haul Handbook is by email at [email protected]. We read every message. Because this is a small, independent project, please allow a few business days for a reply.
Report a correction
Every legal and financial fact on our pages carries a source and a verification date, but fees, rates, forms, and agency contacts change, and errors are possible. If you spot something wrong or out of date, from an IFTA rate to an oversize permit fee, please tell us. Include:
- The page (a link is ideal) and the fact that looks wrong.
- What the correct information is, and where you saw it (an official agency page such as FMCSA or the state DOT is ideal).
When we confirm a correction against the official source, we update the page and its verification date. We would rather fix one number than mislead one reader.
The email opens prefilled with the details we need.
Who you are reaching
Haul Handbook is a project of Amenti Labs LLC, maintained by Evan Reid, founder. We compile trucking compliance data from official sources: federal regulations and state agency publications. We are not attorneys or financial advisors, and we do not provide legal or financial advice. See the about page and the editorial process for how the data is researched and sourced.
What we cannot do
We cannot give legal, financial, or tax advice, complete a filing on your behalf, or act for you with FMCSA or a state agency. For those, hire a licensed professional or work directly with the agency. See the disclaimer.
Accessibility issues
If something on the site does not work with your screen reader, keyboard, or other assistive technology, email us with the page and what went wrong. We treat accessibility problems as bugs. Details are on the accessibility statement.
